Having made and sold over 2000 large format prints from the gallery in Rye over the last 15 years, David Purdie has an unparalleled level of experience in turning good photographs into exceptional prints. Until now David has only printed his own pictures to sell in the gallery. Now, for the first time we are making this service available to all photographers. If you have that special picture you want turning into a perfect print for display or as a gift, this is the service for you. 

This is a truly unique, personalised service. 

David will work on your picture and email you a proof version for your approval. At this point you can make changes and we will do this until you are happy with the result. We will then print it for you. Using the latest inkjet printing technology and the finest archival-quality canvas, paper and inks, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional results that exceed your expectations. 

Whether you're looking for vibrant colour prints, rich black-and-white images, or anything in between, he has the skills to bring your vision to life.

HOW TO ORDER

Get in touch with the gallery on 01797 226 937 or email printing@purdiegallery.co.uk  and let us know what you need. You can share your files with us via Dropbox or using WeTransfer, or by email if they are below 10mb.

Drop in and see us between 11am and 5pm Monday to Saturday, though sometimes we do shorter hours so if you are coming specially to see us please ring first. You can bring in your pictures on a USB or portable hard drive which we will copy and return to you. If you are keen to see David in person it is best to ring first to find out which days he will be in. Even if you can't make it in David will be with you the whole way via email or on the phone.

PRICES

We have a range of fixed sizes in differing proportions. We can help you choose if you would like advice on how to best crop a picture if you need it. 

We can print from most files. If you have RAW files they are ideal, though we can print from all formats, and even if you have nothing more than a file straight from a phone we will still work our magic and you will get a beautiful print. We can talk you through the options on the phone or in person at the gallery.

They payment is due once you have approved the proofs, and is needed before I can progress to printing.

PAPER PRINTS lightly textured heavy top quality matt paper, supplied rolled in a tube, you will need to mount or frame the print before display
